Willow's Results & Explanation
Willow has one 'notable' condition in her report, because she inherited one autosomal recessive gene, which means two genes are required to become symptomatic. To help you understand this, and what it means for Willow and her offspring, we have included the explanation provided to us. Willow is not at health risk, as she has only one copy. We manage this in our breeding program by breeding with a non-carrier, so that our puppies are not put at risk. We use Embark's Pair Predictor feature to ensure that with each pairing, we continually improve the breed. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are happy to answer questions.
We are looking for a GUARDIAN HOME for Willow, as we move toward retiring her.
