Raising Puppies In Our Home; Pros and Cons
We start potty training at around 5 weeks, give or take a bit. As part of that process, we also begin crate training and by the time puppies leave our home, they are fully crate trained. Only a few times have we had a pup leave and resist crating. Most love their crate and many will tuck themselves in from time to time when they want a break from the action.

Welcome to Whistling Ridge! (The story behind the name, and our breeding history)
Whistling Ridge is the name we have chosen to identify ourselves as breeders. And the story behind it dates back, long before we adopted the name. I cannot whistle, more than a quiet airy sound one dare not even call a whistle. My wife, however, learned to whistle as a child -- much to her siblings' chagrin, at times -- and has been whistling ever since.
